The role of the Chief Data Officer (CDO) has become increasingly important to the C-suite executives as they are expected to enhance executive decision-making, improve operational efficiency and fuel innovation. It is therefore important that the CDO is empowered and equipped with the right skill set and technology to extract value from data.
To reap the business benefits driven by data, executives should shift their organisation’s operations from classic data management to a data advantage perspective that is connected across the enterprise.
A strong data function led by an executive officer — particularly the CDO — is critical for enabling the data advantage perspective. Deloitte’s CDO Smart Services, powered by Informatica, is a turnkey set of services that puts the right people and technology in place to immediately assess, prioritise, and address transformational data issues within the organisation.
Target group: CxOs and employees who work with data governance and compliance.
